Justin Rigby, originally from Peru, Illinois, studied film at the University of Notre Dame, where he made several short films in addition to studying film history and theory. Upon his graduation in 2005, he moved to New York where he freelanced on the production units of various commercial films all while continuing to write and make films that are more experimental than his work as a student. These films represent Rigby’s exploration of various camera and editing techniques and serve as studies for larger, narrative-based works both current and upcoming.

One of which is Either | Or, Rigby’s first feature film from a screenplay he wrote that wrapped production in the summer of 2011. That film is currently in post production with a release planned for mid-November.
